Funchatter is for playing trivia, scramble and hangman — alone or live with others in Game Rooms. Chat, Game Rooms and private messages are tools for the games and for talking about them. They are not a place to meet strangers offline or share private life details.

Funchatter is for users who are 13 or older. If you are under 13, do not create an account. Parents who find an under-13 account can email support@funchatter.com to request deletion. Also read our Community Rules and Privacy Policy.

For kids (13+)

Never share your real name beyond a nickname, home address, phone number, school, passwords, or photos that show your house, uniform or street.
Game Rooms are for answering questions and guessing words. If someone asks for personal info, tries to move you to another app, or asks to meet in person — stop talking to them and tell a parent, teacher or other trusted adult.
Be kind. No bullying, mean nicknames or nasty photos. If someone is mean to you, leave the room or conversation and tell a trusted adult.
Ask a parent before you upload any photo.
Your email and password are secrets — only you (and a parent, if they help you) should know them.

For parents and guardians

Age rule: accounts are for ages 13+. If your child is under 13 and somehow has an account, email support@funchatter.com and we will delete it.
Accounts need a working email. Unverified accounts are removed after 72 hours.
Teens can play solo games without talking to anyone. Chat, live Game Rooms, friends and private messages involve other people — decide together what they may use.
Nicknames and photos are public to other members. Help them pick a nickname that does not include a school, town or real last name, and review photos before they upload.
Talk through the rules: no personal info, no meeting strangers, no sharing passwords, and tell you if something feels wrong.
If you need an account removed or see something harmful, email support@funchatter.com (from the address on the account when you can).

For adults

Model good behavior in Chat and Game Rooms. Do not ask anyone — especially kids — for personal contact info, photos, or to meet offline.
Do not post adult content, hate, threats, spam or scams. Admins can delete content and suspend accounts.
If someone is harassing you or a young player, stop engaging, keep a note of the username, and email support@funchatter.com.
Private messages are still on our servers. Treat them as you would any online message: polite, game-related, and free of personal details you would not put on a public page.

What to do if something feels wrong

Stop replying. Do not share more information.
Tell a trusted adult if you are a kid.
Email support@funchatter.com with the other player's username and what happened (and a link or rough time if you have it). Admins can review Chat and Game Room activity and suspend accounts that break the rules.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
